Year 3

Welcome to the Year 3 page.

As we reach the last week of the academic year, we would like to take the time to thank you for your support, and say a huge well done to all of the children for their hard work. We have really missed having all of the classes in school and it was lovely that so many of the children were able to come in last week to meet their year 4 teachers.

We hope you have a good final week of term and if you have any questions or would like to contact us please feel free to message us on Seesaw, which we will continue to check regularly, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Have a wonderful summer break and we look forward to seeing you all in September.

Take care and stay safe,

Home Learning: Week beginning 20th April 2020

We hope that you are all keeping well and that you had a chance to enjoy the good weather that we were so lucky to have over the Easter break.

From this week onward, we will be providing a suggested weekly timetable of home learning activities, with links to daily home learning tasks. These will be posted by Monday morning each week and will include activities for English, Maths, PE and one other subject each day. We fully understand that children may not be able to finish all of these activities, but it would certainly be beneficial for them to complete what they can.

In addition to the activities suggested in the weekly timetable, there are also other activities in the Home Learning section of the website which are suitable for Year 3 and 4 children. The BBC are also providing lots of regular age-related daily lessons on their BBC Bitesize website, as well as special programmes broadcast on BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button.

If you have any questions or would like to contact us please feel free to message us on Seesaw, which we will continue to check regularly, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We know that this is an extremely challenging time for everyone and we would like to offer our sincere thanks to all families for your continued support.

Best wishes from all of the year 3 staff and we hope to see you soon.

Take care and stay safe.
